MyRepairMate Device Test

Repair shops use it to test phones that come in for repair and phones they are buying. A customer can also run it at home and send the results to the shop.

How it's used
In the shop
Staff plug the phone into the shop's computer. The computer puts the app on the phone, reads its model, serial number, IMEI, battery and parts over the cable, and collects each result as the tests run. When the test is finished, the app comes off again.
At home
Install the app and run all the tests, or pick the ones you need. To send the results to a repair shop, open Results, choose Send to a shop and type the shop's code, with your job number if you have one.
What it tests
35 tests on iPhone and iPad, 34 on Android. If a device doesn't have something, like a second screen, its test says so instead of failing.

What happens to your results
The app has no account, no adverts and no tracking. Results stay on the phone until you send them to a repair shop, or the phone is plugged into a shop's computer for a test.
